It is obtained from the reaction of piperazine hexahydrate with ethylene oxide. Piperazine hexahydrate was dissolved in water, stirred and cooled to 15-20℃, and ethylene oxide was passed in. Complete, at 30-35℃, stirring reaction 2h, heating and steaming Chemicalbook 90% of the original added water. Cool to below 15℃ and strain. N- (2-hydroxyethyl) piperazine was obtained by vacuum distillation of the filtrate at 145-155℃ (5.33kPa).
