1,3-Bis(trifluoromethyl)benzene is colorless transparent liquid. Melting point -34.7℃, relative density 1.394, boiling point 115.8℃, flash point 26.1℃, refractive index 1.379.

Appilcation:Pharmaceutical and pesticide intermediates. Also used in the synthesis of phenol dyes intermediates and fluorine resins; Used as a solvent in the photographic and clock industries.

Manufacturing process:With m - xylene as raw material, chaffa chaffa chlorination, fluorination system. In this process, the raw material consumption per ton of product is 700kg of m-xylene (≥98%), 660kg of hydrogen fluoride, 2714kg of chlorine gas, and the yield is ≥85%.

Classification:Explosive articles,Mixed with nitric and sulfuric acid, the gas emits a spark sensitive explosion at 90℃.
